OUR STORY

SonShine Lilly Productions is the basis of many empowering events to come to Aiken, SC. The name SonShine Lilly comes from me becoming a new mom and realizing all of the wonders of having a son and In memory of my late grandmother, Shirley Juanita Dicks, who loved lilies.

Since, I was a little girl fashion, pageantry, and modeling were always forefront for me. I loved the competition, being able to dress up and most importantly the friendships built during those weekends away competing. Once I started college, I could not find a major that seemed to "fit" me until I found Johnson & Wales University's major Sports/Entertainment/Event Management. This major would allow for me to be exposed to everything from sports to fashion to weddings and much more! Through my journey I realized that my not did I want to be in the Entertainment/Fashion/Event space but my purpose in life was to reach others and inspire and empower them to be great leaders and see the beauty within themselves.

In September of 2022, I begin setting the ground work for what would be the first event under the SonShine Lilly Brand. I sat on the idea for months trying to talk myself out of what seemed to be at the time a crazy idea that would not happen. In June of 2023, I decided if not now then when.. so here we are ready to network, collaborate, and reach our community to empower the lives of the next generation to see that beauty lies within and each one of us can be a catalyst to the success of others around us!
